This got nothing to do with maple.. I signed in to Mobstar (a online text based game i played a long time ago.. Maffia themed) and i found this announcement in the forums.. Seems my old crew(=guild) quit alltogether.
They did gave a nice going away party.. Didnt expect any less from Elysium. We own in every game =D
Elysium's retirement action.
Let's go back to where it all started.
In 2003 there was a powerfull crew named Mobs United. It was a great time, mobstar was played in another way then it is these days.
People who joined a crew were loyal to it and were not 'fighting' for 3 crews at a time, something that's hard to find now.
Well the leaders of Mobs United decided to stop leading the crew and start a new one, which was only accessible for the most dedicated people of Mobs United.
A small crew, not as huge as Mobs United was. A crew named Elysium.
We had a great time, all the members became good friends with eachother.
It didnt took long before we took over some Bulletfactory's and made enemy's.
At a moment Elysium was the target of some people who we're shooting the crew as soon as it got back so we decided to lay low for a while and go underground.
Well even after refounding ourselves after some time those people still seemed not finished with us.
During the underground time we lost quite some members due retirements. I can't blaim them, mobstar still is a game.
At one moment the active Elysium existed of three players only. We tried to form an underground named Arcadia but we soon noticed this was not what we wanted to fight for.
We we're Elysium soldiers, we wanted Elysium back.
Some of the old school members of Elysium returned to mobstar and we were able to have our crew back. This went good for quite some time. We had fun holding our crew with all those old friends.
But we also noticed mobstar had changed. We couldnt shoot around like we were used to. Sakramentos had their crews all over mobstar.
We tried to keep our own way of playing, but it didnt take too long before we were in some trouble.
Hells Bootcamp thought we were out of line when we took over a second place domo. They opened fire at us and whiped Elysium out.
In our opinion it was no use trying to get back, not with all those crews backing HBC up.
Well we went underground again, and started to fire at Hells Bootcamp. We had a fun time, a great cooperation inside Elysium and quite some kills.
Hells Bootcamp could not hit us since were underground. But when one of our mains turned assassin they killed us within 5 minutes most of the time. Nothing but respect for that.
Now we think it's time for us to stop. For us Elysium was maybe even the best group of players around on mobstar. Playing for years together as a small group, so loyal and dedicated, with so much fun.
we think that's important. Now some of us are getting more and more inactive and some of us who still want to be active. No one wants to leave Elysium, so we decided to retire.
We do not retire as players but as Elysium. The ones that keep on playing will be neutral on mobstar again, not starting anti sakra like were at the end of Elysium.
One last action. Hells Bootcamp asked for some action lately. I hope we meet your expectations.
